Front Cover Second Draft

This is the second draft of my front cover with all the changes made mentioned in the earlier entry. The image makes it seem alot more like a music magazine, keeping to convention but still giving a more individual feel that was intended. however it is still lacking something which i have decided is an image, I need to take more images which will fit on the front cover but not attract attention away from the main image.

Front Cover First Draft

This is the first edit of my front cover, I have had to change my image to fit convention as this only fits a niche market, also i have added a grey banner behind the title text to make it stand out more. I changed the image because it did not stand out as an obvious music magazine front cover, instead i have moved this image to the contents page.

Unfinished Double Page

This is a earlier version of my now finished double page spread, I have changed the two thin images to one larger image to fit convention, i have also changed the quote font colour to a pale red, similair to the hood on the image. Also the first letter of each answer is larger, similair to mainstream magazines like 'Q'. Finally i have fitted both the pages together onto either a A4 or A3 depending on my final magazine size idea.

Contents Almost Finished

This is my unfinished contents page, it needs a few small tweaks for example an editors image, a new image for one of the bands, some small font changes and a colour wash or fade in the background. However this is near enough my final idea, i am also considering a change from A4 to A5 to make it easier to carry and read on the move.
